Annual Day Celebration of Playschool to Grade 2
The Play School, Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 celebrated their Annual Day Program on November 21, 2025, at St. Mary's Auditorium at 9:30 a.m. The formal compering of the program was carried out by Anvay and Dhanvika from UKG, while Dhanush and Hanvika, also from UKG, warmly welcomed the gathering. The school's progress report for the academic year was presented by the Principal, Rev. Fr. Vijay Dsouza, who highlighted key accomplishments, milestones, and the school's continued commitment to holistic development.
The guest introduction was delivered by Ms. Srinidhi Rao, who highlighted the achievements of the Chief Guest, Dr. Rayan Mathias. The Chief Guest was felicitated for his incredible achievements as a student counselor. He addressed parents and students, emphasizing the importance of nurturing the talents of young children and meeting the emotional needs of the younger generation.
The Correspondent, V. Rev. Fr. Charles Menezes, in his presidential address, spoke about the overall development of the students and the school's mission to foster their growth. The event was graced by the presence of The Secretary, Col. Dr. Arthur Rodrigues; The Vice President, Mr. Maxim D'Souza; The Correspondent, V. Rev. Fr. Charles Menezes; Rev. Fr. Vijay Joyson D'souza, the Principal; and Ms. Rita Quadros, the Vice Principal. Jeon and Amyra of UKG delivered the vote of thanks.
The cultural program was led by Jayden and Samhitha from UKG. A variety of programs were displayed by the children from Play School to Grade 2. The cultural program began with a classical welcome dance, followed by Play School children showcasing "Fun and Fiesta - South Indian Culture". L KG and U KG children presented themes such as "Cherish the Joy of Childhood", "Nostalgic Games", "Cherishing Old Forgotten Games", "Friendship", "Rhythm of Happiness" showcasing state dances, a Cinderella skit, "A Visit to an Aviary", "Sunday Fun Day", and the story "Monkey Fasting".
The cultural program of Grade 1 and 2 was further anchored by Master Mohammed Zaif and Eva Dsouza of Grade 2, with themes including mobile, yoga, plastic, tribal, education, folk dance, and puppet dance. The cultural program ended with the national anthem. The audience and the guests appreciated the efforts of the teachers and the children and enjoyed watching the program.
