Grandparents day Celebration

The play school and kindergarten students of St.Marys English Medium School celebrated Grandparents’ Day with great enthusiasm on July 19,2025 at JP Tauro Hall. The program commenced with a prayer song by UKG students followed by welcome speech by Ethan and Pranshi from UKG A. A wonderful wishing dance was performed by play school kids and an Action song by LKG children. A Dramatic dance was played by kindergarten students. The importance of grandparents was expressed by Amaira and Gladson from UKG.

Most touching moments was the grandparents and grandchildren duet dance performance which brought smiles and happy tears to many faces. The chief guests of the day were Mr Henry Dsouza and Mrs Mary Dsouza from Udyavara. The co ordinator of kindergarten Ms Dapsy vaz introduced the chief guests. Ms. Mary Dsouza enlightened the audience on the importance of grandparents in family and their priceless contributions in the socialization of grandchildren. Correspondent V. Rev. Fr Charles Menezes elaborated the importance of teachers in the life of the young children. Interesting recreational games were conducted by Ms Reshma Almeida accompanied by the teachers.

Correspondent V. Rev.Fr.Charles Menezes, Principal Rev. Fr Vijay Dsouza, Vice Principal Ms.Rita Quadras and Kindergarten Coordinator Ms .Dapsy Vaz were present on the occasion. Anvi and Cian of UKG extended vote of thanks. Ms. Renita Dsouza was the anchor of the program. The program ended with School Anthem by the Kindergarten teachers.
