26th Kargil Vijay Diwas

The 26th Kargil Vijay Diwas celebration was organized by 72 JD Troop, 6-Karnataka NCC Naval Unit on July 26, 2025 to honor the bravery of the Indian armed forces. The program began with a prayer song by NCC cadets followed by a welcome address by Senior Cadet Captain Chaithanya. Petty Officer Cdt Raisha Chowta highlighted the historical significance of the Kargil War paying tribute to the sacrifices of the Indian Army. Dignitaries paid floral tributes to the martyrs and Chief Guest Ex-Sergeant Mr. Anil Kumar was felicitated for his invaluable service to the nation. In his address, Mr. Kumar urged students to be responsible citizens and fulfill their duties towards the nation. NCC A certificates were awarded to eligible cadets of 72 JD Troop. Correspondent V. Rev. Fr Charles Menezes emphasized the importance of peace and harmony in his Presidential address. Principal Rev. Fr Vijay Joyson D'Souza and Vice Principal Ms Rita Quadros graced the occasion. The celebration concluded with a cultural program featuring a dance and skit by the cadets.
