Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebration 2026

Kargil Vijay Diwas was observed at St Mary's , Kannarpady on July 27, 2026 to honour the valour and supreme sacrifice of the brave soldiers of the Kargil War. The programme commenced with floral tributes to the Kargil martyrs as a mark of respect and gratitude.

The Chief Guest, Col. Prakash Chandra addressed the gathering and lauded the courage, patriotism and selfless service of the Indian Armed Forces. In his Presidential Address the Correspondent, V. Rev. Fr. Denis D'Sa, emphasized the importance of fulfilling one’s fundamental duties and responsibilities towards the nation. He also presented ‘A’ certificates to the cadets who had qualified.

As part of the cultural programme, NCC cadets presented a vibrant dance performance and a patriotic skit dedicated to the nation’s heroes. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.

Principal Rev. Fr. Vijay Joyson D'Souza, Vice Principal Ms. Rita Quadros and NCC Caretaker Ms. Ashwini were present in the stage. The program was anchored by Ashel.Sampreethi presented the welcome address. and Jaziel proposed the vote of thanks.
